Thumper and the Noisy Ducky Thumper and his sisters are back for another charming adventure! This time, they’re making friends with little yellow duckies. With irresistibly cute illustrations, lyrical text, and fuzzy flocking on every page, this board book is the perfect addition to any Easter basket. One Duck Stuck: A Mucky Ducky Counting Book “Splish, clomp, pleep, plop, plunk, sloosh, slosh, slink, zing.” Who can resist a read-aloud featuring sounds like these? When, “Down by the marsh, by the sleepy, slimy marsh, one duck gets stuck in the muck,” who comes to the rescue? Two fish, splishing, for starters. Then three moose clomping, four crickets pleeping, and so on. Still, “No luck. Still stuck.” It takes a whole lot of teamwork to get this particular stuck duck unstuck from the muck, but this cheerful bunch is definitely up to the task. From one duck to 10 dragonflies, the muddy fun never stops in Phyllis Root’s chunky little board book. Young readers will giggle their way through the numbers, and by the time the duck’s foot is released with a “Spluck!” counting will be a cinch. Ducky Duck Doesn’t Want to be a Duck This fun children’s book follows the story of a duck who simply doesn’t want to be a duck. Ducky tells his mama, ” Mama, I want to be a bunny. Bunnies have a lot of fun, so now I’m going to be a bunny. ” So Ducky Duck goes to be a bunny. But it doesn’t stop there. Oh no, Ducky wants to be many things, anything but a duck. Will any of his new identities work out for him? Ducky Duck has lots of friends who help him along during his identity crisis. Benny Bunny, Beavis Beaver and Donnie Deer are great characters who add a touch of valuable education about animals in this wonderful bedtime story.

10 Little Rubber Ducks Board Book Get swept away on a high-seas voyage of discovery with 10 little rubber ducks as they float to every part of the world. The story opens at a factory where assembly-line workers are painting details onto bright yellow rubber ducks. The toys are then loaded onto a freighter destined for faraway countries. During a storm, 10 rubber ducks fall into the sea. Each one floats in a different direction – west, east, north, south, left, right, up, down, this way, and that way – and encounters a different animal (a dolphin, seal, polar bear, etc.). The 10th one meets a mother duck with her offspring and bobs along with them to their nest. The ducks all bid “Good night” to one another with a “Quack,” while the newcomer says “Squeak!” (Children can press the page to hear a squeak.) Ducky A yellow plastic duck narrates the story of his adventures on the ocean after a ship’s crate loaded with bathtub toys is washed overboard. Along with some of the other toys, the duck is swallowed by a shark, then spit out even though he and his companions are “guaranteed nontoxic.” Gradually, the toys are separated by wind and wave, and the duck journeys alone for months. Eventually, he is picked up by a schoolboy and logged in by scientists. An author’s note explains the real-life incident that gave rise to the story as well as the science connection. In the throes of the adventure, Ducky wishes he could do more than just float, that he could swim, or fly. But, by journey’s end, safe and with a child of his own, the contented toy concludes, “How wondrous it is to be able to float!” Bunting’s narrative opens with the choppy rhythms and abbreviated sentences of an easy reader, but grows more lyrical as events progress. No More Diapers for Ducky! No more diapers for me! That

Sell on Houzz – Learn MoreAs a room built for adults, safety and functionality are big considerations for small children. Find a faucet extender and a step stool for kids to be able to reach the sink without your help. A bath spout cover will make your child smile (they resemble cute animals) and protect their heads from bumping the hard surface. Of course, the most important kids bathroom accessories are bath toys, so don’t forget the rubber ducky and other squirty bath pals! What are my bath toy storage options?Kid and baby bath toys are great fun, but where do you put that rubber ducky when bathtime ends? Usually these end up floating freely around the tub, and if you share the bathroom with your little ones, this can get cluttered quickly. Keeping things in or near the bathtub is ideal, and it is easily done with the help of an organizer, such as a corner bath basket. Look for options you can mount on the wall or hang over the side of the tub, like a bath toy scoop that doubles as a rinse-and-drain device to keep toys clean and dry. What baby bath accessories do I need?Because of their small, delicate nature, babies require special items for bathing. A baby bath ring fits right in your tub and will hold them in a confined but comfortable position so you can safely bathe them. When they outgrow this, invest in a non-slip baby bath mat so they won’t slip and slide around in the larger tub. Super soft baby towels are the perfect way to wrap up bathtime and calm down your little one before naptime.

BathIt's not difficult to transform your bathroom into an elegant, functional space. Just keep in mind who uses the bathroom and pay attention to coordination while maintaining your personal sense of style. Before installing or replacing a bathroom fixture such as a faucet or drain for the sink, a showerhead, a tub faucet, a toilet handle or a toilet seat, pay attention to the plumbing location, the dimensions of the previous fixture and the size of the space. When considering showerheads, pay attention to size, output pressure, spray pattern and finish, and consider a rain showerhead or a dual model with multiple heads for a luxurious experience. Make sure the fixtures you choose are coordinated with the bathroom's hardware, sink, toilet and flooring in style and color. Whether to choose a matte or polished finish is a matter of taste, although a matte finish may be easier to keep looking spot-free.Bathroom lighting is extremely important because of the detail-oriented tasks that are done in the bathroom, such as makeup application and shaving. Put task lights and spotlights where you need them most, and consider mood lighting to create a personalized decorative ambiance that highlights specific areas of the room.Tie your look together with a shower curtain that speaks to you and coordinated window curtains, and a bath mat. When choosing these items, think about getting ones that complement the paint and tiles in the room as well as expressing your personal taste.Show more
